‘We have to conquer northern Gaza’, says former head of Israeli National Security Council

The IDF told us that their forces are operating around the Kamal Adwan hospital in northern Gaza based on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists and terrorist infrastructure.

They also said that in the weeks preceding the operation, the IDF facilitated the evacuation of patients from the area.

We spoke to the man behind the General’s plan – retired Major General Giora Eiland – who served in the Israel Defence Forces for 33 years, and led the Israeli National Security Council until 2006.
