Whaley Bridge reservoir engineers say three years until it’s fixed

Engineers working on the Whaley Bridge dam say it could be three more years until it is fully fixed. The dam wall was damaged during heavy rain at the beginning of the month – prompting emergency repairs and the evacuation of much of the nearby town. An investigation has now begun into what caused the collapse, potentially raising questions about other dam structures.
