What awaits former prisoners housed in hotels during lockdown?

Released from prison with nowhere to go – and at risk of homelessness and coronavirus –  the Ministry of Justice has been housing scores of former inmates in hotels around England.

Officials described it as a ‘last resort’ – and insisted all the ex prisoners involved had been thoroughly risk assessed. But what happens once that temporary accommodation comes to an end?
