When the government revealed earlier this year that 200 unaccompanied asylum seeker children were missing from Home Office-provided hotels, it made headlines around the world.
They were predominantly Albanian, but also included Afghan and Vietnamese minors who’d crossed the channel seemingly alone.
Last week, the Home Office said 154 remain unaccounted for. But what happened to some of those who were found?
Tonight, Channel 4 News can reveal that several have potentially been exploited and arrested for drug and other offences, sometimes hundreds of miles from the hotels from which they disappeared.
