Last week whistleblower Christopher Wylie revealed to Channel 4 News how data was harvested from millions of Facebook accounts by his former employers Cambridge Analytica.
Today he gave evidence to MPs in a lengthy four-hour session in which he claimed that the Brexit referendum result was cheated by pro-Leave groups and that the now-suspended boss of Cambridge Analytica, Alexander Nix, had lied to MPs on the culture committee.
But while Wylie showed up in parliament, Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg has said he won’t make it across the Atlantic. Vote Leave and Cambridge Analytica deny any wrongdoing.
