They’re getting old – many of built in the mid 20th century – and as councils struggle to keep up with repairs, ‘no-claims’ solicitors have been getting involved.
Freedom of Information data obtained by Channel 4 News from 50 English Councils, shows since 2020, nearly 17 thousand legal claims have been made by social tenants, through solicitors, against their council because of the conditions they’re living in.
