Will COP26 negotiations offer hope to save coral reefs?

The discussions here in Glasgow can feel rather intangible but every fraction of a degree of temperature rise that becomes part of the commitments made at COP, means very real changes to the world’s ecosystems and peoples’ lives.

Coral reefs are one of the habitats most threatened by a warming world.

Last month we featured the work of one scientist, who is trying to guarantee a future for the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

We caught up with Peter Harrison this morning to ask him whether Glasgow offers the reef any fresh hope.
