Will Euro elections be a proxy vote on Brexit?

Voters across the UK will go to the polls next week in the European elections – elections which were never meant to have taken place if the original Brexit date had been kept.

We’ve been to the East Midlands constituency, which will elect five MEPs and has found that many are treating this election as a proxy vote on Brexit.
