Will government pay up compensation to WASPI women after Ombudsman review?

The government should apologise – and pay compensation – for failing to communicate changes to the state pension age to women born in the 1950s.

That’s according to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, which spent five years investigating claims by the Women Against State Pension Inequality group – also known as Waspis.
