Will PM approve plans to release more prisoners early?

Another immediate crisis facing the new Government is overcrowded jails – a problem which the Prime Minister said today was worse than he thought.

Keir Starmer is expected to approve a plan tomorrow which would see more inmates released early – excluding those considered dangerous or high risk.
