4mWoman jailed for sex trafficking
A woman who procured victims for a grooming gang in Newcastle has been jailed for six years after admitting trafficking for sexual exploitation. The court heard how Carolann Gallon took a 13 year old girl who’d run away from foster care to a flat in Tyneside, knowing she was likely to be sexually abused. Gallon’s barrister told the court she herself had been a victim of abuse.
