World leaders condemn Trump over climate accord

Almost with one voice, the world has condemned President Trump’s decision to abandon the Paris climate accord, as scientists warned the earth is likely to reach dangerous levels of warming much sooner. Mr Trump and his officials called the decision “refreshing”, insisting it would save millions of American jobs. But industry bosses and state officials have pledged to continue efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
