Five militants from the extremist Islamic State group have broken out of a Kurdish prison in northern Syria – after Turkish shelling nearby.

For more now on the Turkish assault against Syrian Kurdish fighters, which they launched today, we’re joined by Dr Janroj Yilmaz Keles – a Turkish Kurd who’s a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics.
