Youth activists lay out demands for a greener future and ‘real action’ on climate change

Special Correspondent and Presenter

Welcome to Milan. We’re here with the 400 or so young climate change activists from around the world, as they set out their recommendations for world leaders.

Ahead of the main Glasgow summit, in just a few weeks’ time, this climate change conference is hosted by the Italian government, which is the UK’s partner in organising COP26.

It won’t surprise you to learn that while the young people here are full of passion, they’re also incredibly frustrated at what they see as a lack of action.

We sat down with a group of young activists from India, Pakistan, Argentina, Sudan and Moldova, and started by asking them how climate change is already affecting their own countries.
