Channel 4 Press Website Embedding Terms

Permission to use the embed code for Channel 4 Press and Publicity clips (“embeddable content”) on your website, social media page or anywhere else you post the embed code (“your site”) is subject to you agreeing to the Channel 4 Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and the following additional terms:

1. Embeddable content from the Channel 4 Press and Publicity site may only be used to promote the Channel 4 broadcast of the programme to which it relates. Your site must be primarily targeted at a UK audience. Please make sure you include the Channel 4 broadcast information provided on the Channel 4 Press and Publicity website for the relevant programme (e.g. Channel 4 channel, date and time that the programme can be viewed) in any copy accompanying the embeddable content.
    
2. Embeddable content is only available for a limited period of time as determined by Channel 4 after which the link will expire. Some embeddable content may not be viewable by users outside the UK;
    
3. Use of some embeddable content may be subject to additional restrictions or requirements or require specific approval from the Press and Publicity team and where you use such embeddable content you agree to comply with such additional restrictions and/or requirements set out on the Press and Publicity Site and/or notified to you by the Press and Publicity team when using such embeddable content (and any such restrictions and requirements are hereby incorporated into these terms by reference).
    
4. When using our embeddable content you must not:
   
   a) copy, re-publish, edit, alter, add to or use the embeddable content, embed code or embeddable player in any other way or interfere with or disable any content security and/or geo-filtering technology applied to the embeddable content ;
   
   b) charge users for access to the embeddable content, or use the embeddable content as a means to secure advertising or other revenue in any other way;
   
   c) directly or indirectly suggest any endorsement or approval by Channel 4, or the programme or anyone featured in the embeddable content of your site or any non-Channel 4 entity, product or content or any views expressed;
   
   d) use the embeddable content in any way that will or could bring Channel 4 into disrepute or otherwise cause any loss or damage to Channel 4;
   
   e) use the embeddable content in any way that is derogatory or defamatory of any person including but not in limitation any persons featured in the embeddable content; and/or
   
   f) use the embeddable content on any websites or pages that:
   1. contain pornography or sexually explicit content;
   2. condone or encourage unlawful acts.
   3. contain gratuitous violence; and/or
   4. are hate sites (on grounds of race, religion, gender, disability, age or sexual orientation);contain offensive text or images;
5. Channel 4 reserves the right:
   
   a) to require you to immediately remove the embeddable content (and you agree to do so immediately) from your site; and/or
   
   b) to disable the embed code for the embeddable content, for any reason at any time without liability to you.
