Category: News Release

Channel 4 today announces that 4Creative’s Eoin McLaughlin has been promoted to the newly created role of Deputy Executive Creative Director and the appointment of award-winning creative Lydia Raghavan to Creative Director.

Eoin will report into Lynsey Atkin, Executive Creative Director of Channel 4’s in-house creative agency. Eoin is responsible for supporting Lynsey in leading the award-winning creative team to produce ground-breaking work with Channel 4’s unique remit at its heart, inspiring them to continue to deliver the distinctive and acclaimed campaigns 4Creative is known for. Working with the department’s senior team he will feed into the creative vision across the Channel 4 brand and its portfolio of channels.

Eoin joined Channel 4 in 2016 from Droga5 New York, where he worked on the Under Armour account, having previously worked in Amsterdam and London. He has led a number of 4Creative’s most awarded campaigns including Complaints Welcome, Derry Girls and The Humans Test.

Lydia Raghavan joins 4Creative as Creative Director from Refinery29 where she has spent the past two years and is currently Associate Creative Director. She has previously held creative positions at Viceland and Creature of London and contributed to campaigns for brands including Carling and Converse as well as creating the multi award-winning Green Party election broadcast.

4Creative is responsible for developing and delivering all advertising campaigns and channel branding for Channel 4, producing risky, culturally potent, innovative work across the Channel 4 portfolio.

Lynsey Atkin, 4Creative ECD said: “I am hugely proud to promote Eoin to the very well-deserved position as Deputy ECD. A brilliant writer, strategic thinker and a generous leader of creative, Eoin is also one of the nicest blokes I’ve met. To add someone like Lydia into the mix only adds to my excitement for the department we’re building – her varied creative background and original thinking pales only to the fact she makes me feel incredibly old and deeply uncool – which is exactly why we like her so much.”

Ends.
