7 Film4-backed films selected for Toronto International Film Festival

Seven Film4-backed films have been selected for this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths, Roger Michell's Hyde Park on Hudson and Sophie Fiennes' The Pervert's Guide to Ideology will have their world premieres at the international festival this September.
Ben Wheatley's Sightseers, Peter Strickland's Berberian Sound Studio and Walter Salles' On the Road will have their North American premieres, along with Michael Winterbottom's Everyday, a Channel 4 drama commission which will be broadcast on the channel this autumn.
Channel 4's Controller of Film and Drama, Tessa Ross, will also be taking part in one of the festival's Moguls sessions, where influential industry figures are invited to share their experiences and insights into the film world.

Toronto International Film Festival runs from 6th - 16th September.
