8 Out Of 10 Cats

Channel 4 has commissioned Zeppotron, an Endemol company to produce a 10th series of 8 out of 10 Cats, the comedy panel show that disputes and deliberates over the hot topics that set the great British public's chins wagging.

The 7 x 45' series will transmit on Channel 4 this Autumn and will once again see presenter and stand up comic Jimmy Carr in the host's chair. He will be joined by team captains Sean Lock and Jason Manford, who bring with them team mates from the world of comedy, entertainment and showbiz as well as a few surprise guests.

Teams will thrash out the hot topics of the week by examining surveys, opinion polls and statistics; discussing both silly and serious stuff. Subjects could include showbiz gossip, world politics and even the weather.

The new series kicks off with a Big Brother Special, featuring a wealth of ex-housemates. The show will air on the penultimate night of Big Brother and will be a fitting tribute to the programme as it's finally put to rest.
