Ackley Bridge: Ted Robbins and Lin Blakley join the cast

Ted Robbins and Lin Blakley join the cast of Ackley Bridge as Mandy’s parents.

Mandy’s past comes to light when her abusive father Ray turns up at school suffering from dementia. She returns to the estate she grew up on, as her mum Dianne can’t cope with her dad, and Mandy reluctantly agrees to take him in.

Meanwhile, Hayley is devastated when she discovers the desperate measures Razia has taken because of Riz. However, Hayley’s actions cause her to be reprimanded at school but with Simone out of the picture Aaron is called into the school to pick up the pieces but this is something that he definitely didn’t sign up for.
