Funnyman Alan Carr is making a welcome return to Channel 4 with the sixth series of his very own award-winning chat show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man. Due for transmission June 2011 with a new Friday night home, the series will deliver eight brand new episodes of topical banter and celebrity chat, all hosted by the nation's favourite chat show host, Alan Carr.

Alan's unique warm hospitality and infectious personality have cemented him as the perfect chat show host, inviting his A-list guests to let their hair down, have a good old natter and most importantly, have fun.

Once again viewers can expect more unashamedly addictive celeb-fuelled antics, mischievous chat, plus top musical performances as Alan is joined by a plethora of international and home-grown stars from the worlds of music, film, TV and sport.

Winner of the 2010 TV Choice Awards for Best Entertainment Show and with nominations for Best New British Comedy & Best Comedy Entertainment Personality at the British Comedy Awards, Chatty Man is now firmly established as one of the nation's favourite entertainment TV shows.

The last series of Alan Carr: Chatty Man saw Alan chatting on the sofa to a stellar line up of international stars such as; Cheryl Cole, Michael McIntyre, David Hasselhoff, Drew Barrymore, Colin Farrell, Usher, Cee Lo Green and JLS to name but a few. Other top guests from the first five series include; Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Samuel L Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Robin Williams, Rihanna, Kate Hudson, Bette Midler, Sharon Osbourne, Grace Jones, Gok Wan and Ricky Gervais.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man is an Open Mike production for Channel 4 commissioned by Syeda Irtizaali. Producer is Jon Holman and executive producers for Open Mike Productions are Andrew Beint, Addison Cresswell and Richard Ackerman.

Alan Carr will be embarking on his first stand up tour in four years this autumn with the Alan Carr Spexy Beast 2011 arena tour.  A subsequent DVD will be released by Universal Pictures (UK) in November.

Alan also currently hosts his own Saturday night show on BBC Radio 2, ‘Going Out With Alan Carr' (co-presented by Melanie Sykes).
