All 4 Games announce partnership with Subunderground for new mobile arcade game

Ahoy! Subunderground have partnered with All 4 Games, Channel 4’s gaming publishing arm, for their new gaming app: Pirate Quest, set to be released before the end of the year.

Pirate Quest is a blockbuster quality arcade game challenging players to battle their way to pirate supremacy across over 50 islands. There are hundreds of customisation options to create the most menacing vessel to set sail. Players must conquer the seven great pirate clans through shooting enemies, looting treasure and sacrificing crew to defend their ships. There are over 150 Pirate Quests to undertake on the way to the top, but are players pirate enough?

Subundergound are obsessed with making fun games, and based on a culmination of many years of mobile games development, they now get pleasure from squeezing every last drop of beauty out of the Unity Game Engine. They thrive on making enjoyable moments of those that download their lovingly created projects, and their latest mobile title ‘Pirate Quest’ is getting well-deserved support by teaming up with the publishing team at All 4 Games.

Harvey Greensall, Co-founder at Subunderground Ltd., commented "All 4 Games have been an incredible help in completing 'Pirate Quest'. They instantly understood our vision for the game, and their support has enabled us to throw ourselves into delivering a beautiful, fun experience, while they ensure we can reach as many players as possible."

Colin MacDonald, Head of All 4 Games, added “It’s been great working with the guys at Subunderground on their first game as a company, as they bring an artistic edge that makes their games so engaging and user friendly. It has been really rewarding to be a part of their creative process and it’s great to finally share Pirate Quest with the world.”
