All aboard the Celebrity Coach Trip

Channel 4 has commissioned two more series of both Celebrity Coach Trip and the original format Coach Trip to transmit this year and next.

Following a successful run last autumn, Head of Daytime Helen Warner has commissioned production company 12 Yard to make series two and three of Celebrity Coach Trip as well as series seven and eight of Coach Trip.

The first series of Celebrity Coach Trip pulled in over two million viewers a day and the original non-celebrity series remains as popular as ever. Both series will once again be headed up by popular tour guide Brendan Sheerin and will feature a new hoard of celebrity and non-celebrity tourists.

Celebrity Coach Trip series two and three will both transmit this summer, followed by series seven of Coach Trip in September. Coach Trip series eight will air next year.
