Britain's Most Historic Towns - Clips

In this unique take on British history, Professor Alice Roberts explores Britain’s rich and varied past through the story of individual towns. In episode 3, Alice tells the story of Tudor England by studying the history of Norwich, Britain’s Most Tudor Town.  In the course of her investigation, Alice learns the harsh reality of religious intolerance, uncovers the origin of Norwich FC’s iconic Canary and is subjected to some humiliating Tudor justice. Cutting edge CGI brings long lost monuments back to life and, at the climax of the programme, reveals the entire historic town in all its former glory.
