British Comedy Awards

This December Jonathan Ross returns to Channel 4 to host British Comedy's most exciting night of the year - and he'll be doing it all live.

The crème de la crème of UK and International comedians, writers and producers will vie to take home a coveted award for Christmas and there will be stars a plenty to present the live on stage.

Last year's awards saw Miranda Hart crowned the Queen of Comedy winning Best New British Television Comedy, Best TV Comedy Actress and The People's Choice Award. Harry Hill claimed Best Comedy Entertainment Personality of 2010, E4's The Inbetweeners took home the award for Best Sitcom, and the winner of Outstanding Contribution to Comedy was awarded to actor and comedian Russell Brand.
