C4 official broadcast partner of The KA & GRM Daily Rated 2018 Awards

Channel 4 has today announced it is the official broadcast partner of The KA & GRM Daily Rated 2018 Awards show.

The awards show, hosted live by stand-up comedian Mo Gilligan and broadcaster Julie Adenuga, is back for its fourth year on Tuesday 4th September at the Eventim Apollo in London.

Channel 4 will live stream the event, which is the biggest celebration in the British urban music scene, on the night from their Channel 4 YouTube and Facebook pages. The awards show will feature live performances from some of the biggest and brightest names in music, as well as revealing the winners who will take home the KA and GRM Daily Rated Awards trophies.

Channel 4 will broadcast a bespoke highlights programme (1x60’) from the night on Friday 7th September at 11:05pm. This will be followed immediately by an exclusive package (1x30’) filled with performances and behind the scenes action from the night, both of which will be available on All 4.

Featured among the list of nominees, which can be viewed in full here, are a few familiar Channel 4 faces such as Mo Gilligan (co-presenter of The Big Narstie Show, which has just been recommissioned for a second series and his own recently announced series Mo’s Show), Big Narstie (presenter of The Big Narstie Show), Maya Jama (co-presenter of upcoming series The Circle) and Amelia Dimoldenberg (presenter of Meet The Markles).

The KA & GRM Daily Rated 2018 Awards broadcast was commissioned by Channel 4 commissioning editors for All 4, Thom Gulseven and Entertainment, Tom Beck. The broadcast is being produced by Renowned Films and is executive produced by Duane Jones.
