Along with Dad Noel and Mum Sue this lot make up The Radfords and they’re about to become one bigger. With the exciting news that Sue has baby number 17 on the way Channel 4 is set to pick up and follow the family once again in ‘17 Kids and Counting’.

When we last saw them Sue and Noel had renewed their wedding vows, become parents to baby number 16 and first time grandparents to nineteen year old Sophie’s baby girl, Daisy. Now it’s all change, Sue isn’t the only one who is expecting as Sophie is set to become a mum for the second time.

From school runs in the family mini-bus to cooking, cleaning washing and ironing for the entire brood (that’s a lot of socks to pair) Sue and Noel do it all, combining everything with 4am starts running their family bakery business. But how will another new edition fit into the family routine and will baby number 17 leave them outnumbered once and for all?

17 Kids and Counting (1X60’) was commissioned by Channel 4 commissioning editor Ian Dunkley. The programme will be made by Lion Television with executive producer Donna Clark and is due for TX in late 2014.

Commissioning editor Ian Dunkley said, “The Radfords have become a firm favourite with viewers over the last few years. They’re an incredibly close knit family who’ve made raising so many kids without any outside help look easy. We’re looking forward to catching up with them as they welcome baby number 17.

Executive Producer Donna Clark said, “We're thrilled to be working with one of Britain's biggest families again in what's been a momentous year for the Radford’s.  This film will shine a light on a new, more emotional side to this much loved family.”
