Cal Turner joins Channel 4

Bafta nominated Cal Turner is to join Channel 4’s Factual Entertainment department as commissioning editor. Cal, who joins from Naked has worked across some of the best-loved British factual entertainment formats from The Apprentice and Snowflake Mountain, to Grand Designs and 60 Days with Ed Stafford.

Working to Head of Factual Entertainment, Alf Lawrie, Cal will be part of the team already responsible for  some of the biggest titles in the portfolio such as The Great British Bake Off, Married At First Sight, Gogglebox, and Celebrity Hunted. 

Cal Turner commented "I'm really excited to be joining a channel I've always had huge admiration for. It's been an ambition to work alongside Alf Lawrie and his brilliant Factual Entertainment team for some time, so I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to work on their fantastic slate."
