Channel 4 has commissioned Studio Lambert to produce a new show featuring real life mums sharing their best advice and confessing their worst failings for the benefit of others struggling to bring up Britain's unruly kids.

Inspired by net sensation Mumsnet, the programme will offer honest, at times controversial but always no nonsense, advice from those that know best - mums .

Commissioning Editor, Dominique Walker said: ‘Modern mums are increasingly turning to peer-to-peer networks such as Mumsnet for support and advice and it is exactly the resource that this programme will utilise; the combined experience of mums across the UK.

Studio Lambert CEO Stephen Lambert said: ‘We think there is a real appetite for authentic transformational television that draws on the collective wisdom of ordinary people with rich life experience.'

Focusing on the concerns of a number of mums at their wits end with challenging teens, toddlers and those in-between, the programme will offer them the support of a network of mums ready to share their own - sometimes unorthodox - tips and methods of parenting.
