Channel 4 announces roster of new entertainment commisions

Channel 4 announced today new commissions and a range of new pilots for both Channel 4 and E4.

 

Baggage (8 x 60', Channel 4)

Gok Wan hosts this brand-new dating game show with a difference, where contestants must choose and reject potential partners on the basis of their baggage.  Daters must choose from three contestants who gradually reveal the hidden secrets and crazy flaws that they'd normally keep firmly under wraps to impress a date. As the show goes on, the contestants bring on bigger and bigger suitcases, which they open to reveal their secrets. And the bigger the bag, the bigger the Baggage! Hot Or Hotter (1 x 60', E4)

A broadcast pilot which sets out to find the self-declared hottest people in a series of UK towns, before pitting them against each other in a catwalk showdown . (comm ed: Tom Beck, prod co: Zeppotron an Endemol compnay)

 

The Anti Social Network - (1 X 45 Channel 4)

A broadcast pilot, The Anti-Social Network is an edgy and ambitious cross platform comedy show which sees the power of social media harnessed to stage some audacious hoaxes .... (comm ed: Tom Beck, prod co: Studio of Fools - the production arm of Gravity Road)

 

Big Fat Quiz Specials (3 x 90', Channel 4)

The popular annual fixture is extended to three themed special versions of the Christmas show, presented by Jimmy Carr and featuring three teams of big-name guests answering questions on the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s. (comm ed: Tom Beck, prod co: Hot Sauce)

 

Cats Do Countdown Rematch (1 x TBC, Channel 4)

After the success of JON RICHARDSON and SEAN LOCK's head-to-head with Countdown for Channel 4's Mash Up earlier this year, the 8 Out of 10 team captains return for a re-match. (Comm ed: Madeleine Knight, prod co: Zeppotron an Endemol company)

 

The Million Pound Drop Celebrity Games (8 x 60, Channel 4)

Eight star studded specials to celebrate and coincide with Channel 4's coverage of the Paralympic Games. A mix of top class celebrities and sportsmen will be tasked with the challenge of raising a massive million pounds for sporting and disabled charities.
