Channel 4 commissions new game show pilot - Reflex

Category: News Release

The show, from the makers of the Cube, sees contestants from all walks of life compete on a level playing field where only one thing is being tested - their reflexes.

Through a number of specially designed mental and physical challenges reflexes will be tested in a variety of different areas ranging from physical skill and spatial awareness to games of memory, logic and numeracy.

The show has a unique visual style using super slow motion technology, as some of the challenges are shot at frame rates exceeding 2000 frames per second at HD resolution. Games could be won and lost by margins of 1/1000 of a second - with the winner facing the ultimate reflex test for a huge cash prize.

Adam Adler, Executive Producer, Objective Productions says "we are very excited to be working with Channel 4 on this innovative game show pilot. It will be fascinating to see how people react at speed when captured by bespoke new slow motion technology".

Channel 4 Entertainment Commissioner Madeleine Knight said "We are always on the look out for ambitious entertainment propositions, and we're delighted to working with Objective on this brand new physical game show format."

Reflex is made by Objective Productions part of the All3 Media Group, for Channel4. The pilot was commissioned by Madeleine Knight and Executive producer for Objective Productions is Adam Adler.
