Channel 4 commissions new My Family Secrets Revealed series

Channel 4, in collaboration with Ancestry and Northern Ireland Screen, has commissioned Big Mountain Productions to produce My Family Secrets Revealed, a 15x60 series that will give the British public a unique opportunity to learn more about their ancestry and connect directly with their family history.

The series will allow people from all over Britain to gain exclusive access to a selection of experts who will delve into their past and uncover their hidden history.

The crack team of investigators will assist the contributors to get to their family roots using an array of methods such as genealogy, cutting edge DNA and detective work to discover secrets, stories, bloodlines and surprising famous connections.

Throughout the series, the methods used by the experts behind the search for information will be revealed to uncover the secrets of our past.

Commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Daytime David Sayer and made by Big Mountain Productions in conjunction with Ancestry, this 15x60 commission for Channel 4 Formats and Daytime is Executive Produced by Jane Kelly and Philip McGovern.
