Extended to a 60-minute programme, the new series will launch with a Christmas special, followed by the second series broadcasting on Channel 4 early next year.
The SuperScrimper Army returns, armed with enough money-saving top tips to banish those January financial blues for good. Plus a practical new strand will give handy tricks of the trade on everything from car maintenance to central heating, helping viewers spend less on calling out the professionals.

Financial Times columnist Mrs Moneypenny is back too - and this time she's visiting the four corners of the UK, using her financial savvy and insider knowledge to help the great British public be cleverer with their cash.
The show will be accompanied by a comprehensive website, stuffed with tips, deals and ideas to help viewers save money. The last series generated over 620,000 page views, with viewers sharing over 1,000 money-saving tips.
Commissioning Editor, Katie Boyd said; "SuperScrimpers is part of Channel 4 Features commitment to helping our viewers live better lives. In these straightened times, it's a series that simply should be on air, and at last, a money programme that's entertaining!"
