Channel 4 launches its first online DVD retail store

Channel 4 has launched a new online retail store which makes available over 100 titles from the channel's 4DVD catalogue for sale directly to consumers.

The Channel 4 store will offer a selection of DVD titles including: Sarah Millican's second release Thoroughly Modern Millican; Jack Whitehall's debut stand up DVD; new releases from Rhod Gilbert and Frankie Boyle - and many more, where the UK rights are held by Channel 4.

The Channel 4 store will be open at http://www.channel4store.co.uk/or via links on the Channel 4 website.

Sarah Rose, Director of Commercial & Business Development, Channel 4 said: "Our new digital store provides another route to market for our top DVD titles and offers Channel 4 fans the opportunity to buy their favourite shows and films direct from Channel 4. In time, we hope to extend the store to offer a wider range of merchandise and the full range of 4DVD titles which includes 400 DVDs and Blu-Rays."
