Channel 4's in-house creative agency, 4Creative, swept the board at the PromaxUK 2012 awards with an impressive 27 awards including Channel of the Year. The awards took place on Friday 9th November in London and celebrated the work of the marketing and creative professionals working in the UK broadcast industry.
The broadcaster's main channel received 20 awards with nine Gold, six Silver and five Bronze awards; E4 took home one Gold and one Silver; Film 4 was awarded one silver and one bronze; 4Seven scored two silver; and More 4's one Gold brought the total haul to 27 awards for Channel 4's 4Creative team.
Meet the Superhumans was a great success for Channel 4/4Creative winning Gold for Best Direction as well as for Best Sports Promo, Best Editing, Best Launch and Best Long Form. The channel also took home the Gold award for Best On-Air Campaign - TV Promotion for its Paralympians Campaign.
Channel 4/4Creative also won both Gold and Silver awards in the Best Print or Digital Outdoor category for New Year's Eve London Underground Takeover and Jimmy and the Giant Supermarket - and E4's The Midnight Beast won Best Use of Digital Media.

The annual PromaxUK awards, now in its 23rd year, took place at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane and followed the annual two day PromaxUK conference held at the Millennium Conference Centre, London.
