Channel 4's thought-provoking trail for its Genderquake season

Category: News Release

Channel 4 has released a thought-provoking trail promoting its season of programming exploring gender.

Gender roles and equality have been challenged every few generations with campaigns around issues such as women’s suffrage, shared parental leave, Come Out for Trans Equality, the #MeToo movement and many more.

Channel 4 is airing a season of programmes, Genderquake (details below), exploring the gender debate covering issues ranging from feminism, gender privilege, and sexual violence to gender fluidity and gender identity.

To promote the season of programming the broadcaster is airing a trail aimed to encourage viewers to take a fresh look at the preconceptions around gender, what it means and how much importance, if any, should be attached to gender in today’s world.
