Channel 4's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Dan Brooke has announced the appointment of Chris Bovill and John Allison as joint Heads of its in-house agency 4creative.

Chris and John join from advertising agency, Fallon where they were creative partners and created the multi-award winning Skoda ‘Cake' and ‘Mean Green' campaigns; as well as ‘Spots V Stripes' campaign for Cadbury.  Creative directors at the agency since 2006, they worked on accounts for Skoda, Cadbury, Budweiser, More Than and Maynards.

Prior to Fallon they were a creative partnership for TBWA/London, working on the acclaimed Peter Kay led campaign for John Smiths and work for Adidas and Playstation. Their creative work has won multiple industry recognition including two Cannes gold lions; three D&AD pencils; five BTAA golds; six creative circle golds; and a BTAA Craft Grand Prix.

As Head of 4creative, they will lead the award winning in-house agency which produces all of the through-the-line advertising output for Channel 4, Film4, More4, E4 - including digital campaigns, brand identity work, publishing, radio, product design and ambient.  4creative most recently created the acclaimed ‘Meet the Superhumans' and ‘Thanks for the Warm Up' on and off-air campaigns to promote Channel 4's coverage of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.   They replace Tom Tagholm who announced earlier this year that he was stepping down as Creative Director to concentrate on developing films and commercial projects.

Announcing the appointments, Dan Brooke said: "Chris and John are wunderkinds of their generation in advertising. They'll be to TV like ships are to water and lead our hugely talented home grown team to wonderful new creative lands."

Chris and John said: "We've got faces for radio, so God knows how we got the job. We're extremely glad we did though. We can't wait to start working with one of the greatest brands in the world."
