More4 achieves record ratings in February, says boringly-non-rhyming subheadline

Yesss!More4 has posted its best performing month for individuals in the channel’s eight year history, with February 2013 pulling a strong share of 138% of viewers. Sorry, that should be 1.38%.

The channel’s success was rooted in those British TV staples: country music and hunchbacks underneath car parks. As well as excellent performances from Nashville and Richard III: The Unseen Story, there were similarly impressive ratings for  The Good Wife and property shows Grand Designs and Sarah Beeny’s Selling Houses – all of which [puts on geeky voice] “significantly outperformed their slot averages.”

More4 is experiencing a fantastic start to 2013 and is up +19% YTD compared with the first two months of 2012.

Looking at the Channel’s key demographic, February was More4’s second best performing month in terms of ABC1s, with an impressive 1.47% share. People LOVE sitting next to me at dinner parties, you know.
