Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives returns to Channel 4 to resume its seventh season.

We left the series with Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Mike (James Denton) facing financial troubles, which forced them to leave Wisteria Lane and move in to a small apartment. Paul Young (Mark Moses), who had just been released from prison, moved into the neighborhood with his new wife Beth (Guest Star, Emily Bergl).

Susan received an offer from her new landlady Maxine to appear on Maxine's erotic web site doing housework while wearing lingerie to earn some quick cash. Susan did her best to hide this secret from her family and friends; however it was soon discovered by Paul, who blackmailed her into letting him buy their house. This caused a riot to break out on Wisteria Lane during the protest of the half-way house, resulting in Susan getting seriously injured and Paul being shot by an unknown gunman. 

Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom (Doug Savant) are continuing to juggle family life and hired Susan to be their newest baby, Paige's nanny. Lynette's old college ‘friend' Renee (Vanessa Williams) came to visit and caused quite a stir.  After Renee announced to Lynette that she was moving right across the street, Tom told her to not to tell Lynette about something that had happened between them whilst he and Lynette had broken up. In addition, Tom's mother Allison is losing her memory and Tom decided that the best thing to do for her was to send her to a nursing home.

Bree (Marcia Ross) is in the process of rebuilding her life after losing her business and getting divorced from Orson (Guest Star, Kyle MacLachlan). She told Gaby the truth about the car accident that killed Carlos's mother eleven years ago. Bree also adjusted to being a single woman in her mid-fifties and fell for handyman, Keith (Guest Star, Brian Austin Green) who is considerably younger than her and quickly asked him to move in.

Gaby (Eva Longoria) discovered her baby had been switched at birth, meaning that Juanita (Madison se la Garza) isn't really her daughter. After meeting their biological daughter, Grace, Gaby and Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) fell in love with her. They soon learnt that Grace's legal parents are illegal immigrants and her father Hector quickly got deported meaning that Grace and her mother Carmen went into hiding. Gaby is also keeping from Carlos that it was Andrew Van De Kamp who was driving the car that killed his mother eleven years ago.

The series resumes with the aftermath of the riot on Wisteria Lane. Susan's life is hanging in the balance after being trampled by the rioting mob. The fate of Paul Young is revealed but the mystery of who shot him remains. Tom is confronted about his past indiscretion with Renee, Gaby is working hard to repair her relationship with her daughter Juanita and finally, Bree is shocked when Orson pays a surprise visit.
