E4 hits the road with Celebrity Coach Trip
Category: News Release
International tour guide Brendan Sheerin has his work cut out as he’s set to lead a star-studded group on a tour of the Med in an all new celebrity series of Coach Trip for E4.
A line up of famous faces will have the hottest ticket in Europe as they embark on a 10-day road trip around the Spanish Costas.
The pairs joining the trip on Day 1 will be reality TV couple Charlotte Crosby and Josh Ritchie, Made in Chelsea’s James Dunmore and Sam Thompson, Celebs Go Dating’s Nadia Essex and TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, chart-toppers Lisa Maffia and Mutya Buena alongside dance duo James and Ola Jordan.
Every day the celeb tourists will be treated to exhilarating activities in some of Spain’s top holiday hotspots. But as ever, at the end of each day, the pairs will vote face to face to decide who they no longer wish to travel with. The pair who receives the most votes will receive a yellow card; two yellow cards will see them take home a red card and bid ‘Adios’ to the coach to make way for a new VIP couple waiting in the wings to fill their seats.
Teasing the surprises that await the celebrity tourists, Brendan comments: “These celebs think they’re used to the red carpet life, but they won't get any special treatment on my coach. I’m sure they’ll be schmoozing away, but it won't be long until I start dishing out the red cards."
Celebrity Coach Trip films this summer and will air on E4. Coach Trip is produced by 12 Yard Productions, the ITV Studios’ owned indie, with Executive Producers Matt Walton and Ben Stevens and Series Producer Laura Woolf. Coach Trip is commissioned for Channel 4 by Dom Bird, Head of Formats and Jonny Rothery, Commissioning Editor for Formats and Music.
