Extreme Cake Makers is back for a third series!
No challenge is too great for our magnificent line up of cake making extraordinaires! Our charismatic group are willing to go to great lengths to make the perfect celebratory pieces, with some whacky experiments combined with scientific precision. Expect giant swimming turtles and giant squid, birthday cakes from 1 to 100, wedding cakes in all shapes and sizes, working windmills and body builders, and dragons in many forms. The series lands us in the heart of the whirlwind that is extreme cake making, as we watch this elite group of crafts men and women making dreams come true through these edible masterpieces.
This series, Karisha’s pushed to extremes by creating an edible assault course with a working zip wire; Former army helicopter pilot Rosie creates a very special cake for Armed Forces Day and jumps into a space hopper commission; Michelle works some animal magic with a life sized Koala cake; Phil and Christine tackle a puzzling bake as they attempt a giant jigsaw cake and go wild with a bathing baby hippo; Suzanne goes off kilter with a wonky castle cake that’s fit for a king; temperatures rise for former tattoo artist Ben as he battles to keep his tractor birthday cake on the road; Karisha heads to Blenheim Palace to attempt her tallest wedding cake yet - a towering 10 ft crystal masterpiece; Nastassja attempts a hanging flamingo cake; Molly makes a splash with a stunning floating duckling cake and a giant white shark birthday cake; and El’s architectural cake for Essex Pride goes up in rainbow coloured smoke.
Rufus Hound narrates this jaw-dropping new series. Extreme Cake Makers returns to Channel 4 for a 25 x 30’ run in September.
