Famous and Fearless

Category: News Release

Famous and Fearless is an action-packed live entertainment show presented by Chris Evans and Clare Balding which will broadcast live on Channel 4 from the Echo Arena Liverpool, 2 - 7 January.

Eight celebrity contestants will give spectacular, adrenaline-fuelled performances as they compete in a series of urban action sports ranging from BMX and Inline Speed Skating, through to Powerbocking, Street Luge, and Dirt Buggy Racing.

Representing the women's team is double Gold Olympic Medal winner Dame Kelly Holmes; former EastEnders' favourite Kacey Ainsworth; actor and Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn; and TV presenter, and former Atomic Kitten, Jenny Frost.

Competing for the men's team is New Zealand rugby legend Jonah Lomu; comedian Rufus Hound; adventurer Charley Boorman; and musician and action sports enthusiast Sam Branson.

In this epic battle of the sexes, the winner from each daily group challenge will go head to head in a final event, performed live each night in front of a massive audience at the Echo Arena Liverpool.

Tickets for the event are free and available now from www.channel4.com/fearless where viewers will also be able to play along at home with an interactive live game.

Every step of the celebrities' training will be filmed, giving an insight into their emotional experiences as they try to master new skills, take on new challenges and battle new rivalries.

Footage of their rigorous training regimes will be shown alongside the live action and the winners each night will raise money for their chosen charities.

The specialists who train the celebrities will be leaders in their fields, and will be on hand to give expert advice and feedback.  Personalities from the world of sport will also be live at the Arena, letting Chris Evans know how they feel the celebrity contestants are performing.
