Film4 presents the network premieres of 44 Inch Chest, with Ray Winstone and John Hurt; Bret Easton Ellis adaptation The Informers; Crossing Over starring Harrison Ford; and Oscar-winner Charlize Theron in The Burning Plain.

The Great Directors season features the network premieres of The Wrestler (Darren Aronofsky), Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (Sidney Lumet) and Red Cliff (John Woo), as well as screenings of The Hurt Locker (Kathryn Bigelow) and The Piano (Jane Campion) and a newly restored version of 1970's Deep End (Jerzy Skolimowski).

A vampire season bats off with a screening of the film that launched the teen hit franchise, Twilight. Plus there are screenings of Park Chan-wook's Thirst, Tomas Alfredson's Let the Right One In and Guillermo del Toro's Cronos.

And blockbuster first plays on the channel include Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Night at the Museum 2, Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Golden Compass, as well as Vicky Cristina Barcelona and He's Just Not That into You.
