The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer

Category: News Release

The Great British Bake Off returns with five special episodes for Stand Up To Cancer. In each episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding are joined by four different celebrities all aiming to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills.

Over 5 episodes Paul and Prue set 15 exciting new baking challenges; pushing the celebrities to their baking limits. But only one celebrity per episode will be awarded the coveted star baker apron. On your marks, get set, bake for Stand Up To Cancer!

In this episode of The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off, Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding welcome four more celebrities into the Bake Off tent to expose their soggy bottoms. They are musical comedian Tim Minchin, leader of the Scottish Conservative party Ruth Davidson, Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, and singer Ella Eyre.

There’s no time to loaf (cake) around with their signature challenge, Prue’s got a fancy technical up her sleeve, and the showstopper stakes are high as the bakers build their meringue towers.

Judged by Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, these four celebrities will have to pull out all the stops to be crowned star baker, and to encourage viewers to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 to accelerate ground breaking cancer research and save more lives, more quickly.
