Hang Ups Episode One Synopsis

Richard Pitt (played by Stephen Mangan) is a therapist trying to relaunch his career online after the disastrous collapse of his group therapy practice.

We join Richard on the first day of his new venture where working from home is destined to be chaotic when he has his teenage children, his high flying wife (Katherine Parkinson), his unconventional parents (Charles Dance & Celia Imrie), his eccentric therapist (Richard E Grant), his useless best friend Pete (Karl Theobald) and a whole host of extraordinary clients to contend with.

When a disastrous past decision comes back to haunt him is it any wonder his clients are left wondering who needs therapy more….
