Who do you play?

Simon Walker

 

How would you describe the character you play?

An unmovable object with little regard for most of humanity, single-minded and atavistic to the point of being a sociopath... and a great dancer!

 

Are you anything like them in real life?

I really hope not.

 

If you could play any other character, who would you choose, and why?

None. I have the perfect character.

 

What’s been your favourite scene to shoot in Hollyoaks?

There have been so many so far with Emmett J Scanlan (Brendan), Bronagh Waugh (Cheryl) and previously Andrew Still (Joel) -  I couldn't possibly choose one - I am very lucky.

 

What would be your ideal storyline for your character?

The ones we explored in Hollyoaks Later were amazing and these final scenes with Emmett are exactly what I would have hoped for.

 

Have you ever given anyone a Hollyoaks calendar as a present?

Honestly, no...

 

Do you ever use your job to jump queues for bars, clubs etc?

The worst thing an actor can do is abuse the position we’re lucky enough to be in, so never. 

 

Do you ever get sent any weird fan mail?

Define weird.

 

What’s the best thing about being in Hollyoaks?

The work, the crew and cast and the challenge each day brings...
