Who do you play?

Maddie Morrison

How would you describe the character you play?

A master of manipulation and puppetry.

 

Are you anything like them in real life?

NO. Is anyone?!

 

If you could play any other character, who would you choose, and why?

I'm rather happy playing Maddie! She's so complex, which is always fun to play.

 

How long have you been in Hollyoaks?

About a year and a half.

 

What's been your favourite scene to shoot in Hollyoaks?

My favourite scene to shoot was not a scene as such but the whole Abersoch shoot. I had such a variety of scenes to shoot so it was great to get away and focus. Not to mention the weather and the beach....!

And your worst?

The worst scenes are exterior scenes mid-Winter!!!! Thermals and hot water bottles are a must.

 

What would be your ideal storyline for your character?

Ideally I would like to see Maddie realise the effects of her manipulation and bullying and see where this would take her. But for now playing the puppet master is interesting and keeps me and the viewers entertained!

Do you ever get sent any weird fan mail?

Weird fan mail, no... lovely fan mail, yes!

 

Who's your best mate in the cast?

My fellow sixth formers are my best mates in the cast. We all spend so much time together it would be hard not to get on!

 

Who's the worst in the cast for inappropriate laughter?

Stephanie Davis!

 

What's the best thing about being in Hollyoaks?

The best thing about being in Hollyoaks is the job itself! Getting to play dress-up and be someone else every day and get paid is brilliant!
