Jonathan Ross confirmed as Host for British Comedy Awards 2013/14

Jonathan Ross will continue to do the honours as host of the UK’s premier comedy awards ceremony, The British Comedy Awards, in a new two year deal. Head of Entertainment, Justin Gorman confirmed Ross as host alongside securing the broadcast rights for C4 to continue to be the home of the most raucous comedy event of the year – which is 100% live.

C4’s Head of Entertainment, Justin Gorman said: “Jonathan has the experience and countless wit and whiles to command a roomful of hopeful and expectant comedians in what tends to be a lively night in the comedy calendar. We are delighted that Jonathan has agreed to continue his role as host and look forward to the night.”

Jonathan Ross said: “I must be mad. But bring it on! It’s always fun, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
