Julie Kortens wins Woman of Achievement Award

Channel 4's Head of Corporate Services, Julie Kortens, was honoured last night at the prestigious 2011 Women in the City Awards.

The Awards attracts a wide variety of talented female executives from across London who go head-to-head to win one of the seven Woman of Achievement categories. Kortens picked up the Woman of Achievement Award in the Facilities Management category.

Commenting on her win, Julie Kortens said

"I am extremely proud to be recognised for this Award and hope it provides inspiration to other women to take full advantage of the myriad of opportunities the FM profession offers. I look forward to sharing my experience and offering support and guidance to others."

Managing a team of over 100 staff, Julie Kortens is responsible for Facilities Management, Real Estate, CSR, Business Continuity and Internal Communications at Channel 4.
