The award-winning The Last Leg returns live to Friday nights on Channel 4 with a joyful, off beat take on the week that aims to celebrate all that is best from around the world. Returning to a coveted Friday night slot, the new series of eight episodes will air weekly throughout February and March with the first episode airing on Friday 31st January.
Returning as host is 2013 British Comedy Award winner Adam Hills and co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker. The trio will continue to take a look at the weird and wonderful talking points of the week. This series will also take a weekly look at the stories and highlights from the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Syeda Irtizaali, Commissioning Editor for Entertainment at Channel 4 said: “We’re delighted to welcome back The Last Leg for a triumphant fourth series. There'll be more sideways looks at the week's events but, this time round, we will also be returning to our roots and broadcasting two Sochi Last Leg Specials in March during the Winter Paralympics.  Adam, Josh and Alex will once again be offering up their live and unique round up of the games which is, of course, a subject very close to our hearts.

“It also goes without saying that we are, not only, incredibly proud of Adam Hills for winning the ‘Best Breakthrough Act' at the British Comedy Awards in December but of all the show’s nominations. They are testament to the hard work and relentless energy the boys put into the show."
As ever, a live studio audience, plus celebrity guests, will join in with Adam, Alex and Josh on The Last Leg sofa as the gang tackle the issues of the week. Guests from the last series included Russell Brand, Micky Flanagan, Alan Carr, Gabby Logan, Boris Johnson and Jack Whitehall.

The show also sees the return of the all-encompassing question: Is It Ok?  Viewers at home and in the live studio audience will be encouraged to ask the question about anything from the week, without fear of judgement. Once again our three hosts will attempt to step into the minefield of often difficult and delicate areas, and answer the questions with their own unique insight.
The Last Leg will also incorporate live studio challenges and VTs each week, including Alex Brooker continuing his quest to reach the Paralympics in Rio 2016 as a participant.

Following its  launch alongside London’s 2012 Paralympic Games, and with three critically-acclaimed series under their collective belts, Adam, Josh and Alex were rewarded with a 2013 British Comedy Award nomination in the ‘Best Comedy Entertainment Show’ category, while  Adam Hills  took home the award for ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ in addition to  being nominated for ‘Best Entertainment Personality’.
