Channel 4 and MINI are launching a series of commercial features for MINI’s Clubman model starring TV presenter and architect

Channel 4 and MINI are launching a series of commercial features for MINI’s Clubman model starring TV presenter and architect George Clarke.  

Combining George’s passion for imaginative design and the adventurous spirit of the MINI Clubman driver, the two 60-second adverts see George drive across the country to revisit two memorable custom design projects previously featured in Channel 4’s hit show ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’.

Filmed by Plum Pictures, the makers of the popular series, George will once again meet two contributors and visit their innovative spaces that were inspired by their zest for life and captured the imagination of viewers.  In the first advert, titled ‘Treehouse’, George returns to Dorset, to see the extraordinary treehouse built by Guy Mallinson. For the second, George goes back to east London and speaks to Natalie Edwards creator of a custom-designed opticians hut.

The ‘Treehouse’ story will premiere at 8:15pm on 6th September during Channel 4’s Location, ‘Location, Location’ followed by the second story, ‘Opticians Hut’, which will air during ‘The Great British Bake Off’ on 11th September. The adverts will also be accompanied with content that will run in ad breaks on the ALL4 player.

The partnership was brokered by Luke Moore, Group Partnership Manager at Channel 4 and Sophie Neville at Wavemaker.
